Before Jesus ascended into heaven he commissioned his disciples to glorify God by proclaiming the Gospel to the whole world (Matthew 28:19-20). Therefore, when a church is committed to the task of sowing the Gospel and growing in the Gospel, they not only hope that the lost will be won for Christ, and built up in the knowledge of Christ, but they also desire that these disciples might plant the Gospel further afield (Acts 13:1-5).

Practical Outworking: Planting Globally

Presently, most Gospel planting at Kew Baptist Church occurs when our members move away from Kew and go on to bless other local churches. Long term we desire to be a church that looks to plant the Gospel in other ways as we partner in national and international missions. To that end, we currently support likeminded churches in Nairobi, Kenya and Sines, Portugal.
